We currently hold all our sessions at the Crownhill Family Centre, the centre is fully accessible for all prams and wheelchairs with changing facilities available.

Our Sling Library Sessions are currently running on the 1st and 3rd Friday of every month between 09:30-11:30.(Except August as we shut for the summer holiday) This is running as a drop in session so please feel free to just turn up! Hires are £15 for one month or £25 for two months.

We also hold a ‘wrapanappachino’ at the same time as our library sessions in an adjacent room. Here we serve hot drinks, cake and biscuits. A place to sit, relax and chat. Volunteers will be on hand to answer any sling or nappy questions you may have and there are toys out for babies and toddlers to play with. Breastfeeding support will also be available. This is free to attend with the option to ‘tip’ for those who can. 

We have a variety of nappy kits available to hire. These are £20 for a three month hire and are now done as doorstep collection and drop off so they can be collected at a time convenient to you. At the roundabout take the turning for Crownhill Fort, then take the first turning on your right. You will find a car park. Once parked follow the ramp up to the centre and we are just inside. Slings to your right, nappies to your left!

You can reach The Crownhill Family Centre from all areas of the city by bus with a short walk from the final stop to the centre.
